A project held by the Pépinières européennes pour jeunes artistes, in partnership with Artos Foundation (Cyprus), CIANT (Czech Republic), Schlesische 27 (Germany), Agence luxembourgeoise d’action culturelle (Luxembourg), Clube Portugues de Artes e Ideias (Portugal) et UNITER (Roumania)
A new generation of artists, particularly mobile and regardful to different contexts, human, social, economic …, is taking part in the emergence of an European artistic scene. It represents a hard core from which a real cultural community can be built, and spread.
e.mobility is meant to be an interactive and innovative community network. It counts on interactivity and considers the encounter between artists and actors from the cultural, economic and social worlds as a driving force, to imagine new forms of mobility.
In this way, e.mobility builds a vast pan-European network dedicated to young creation via an interactive community pole developed on the Internet.
It facilitates exchanges between different actors, artists and places, amplifies the offer with new proposals and enables as many artists as possible to access mobility.
objectives :
• to imagine new forms of artistic mobility by discovering new fields of activity (companies, social contexts, sciences, tecnologies, environment…)
• to use new technologies as a vector and an amplificator of exchanges and communication
• to promote and facilitate the mobility of artists and cultural actors and encourage as many people as possible to access it
• to take part in the emergence of a creative and pluralist European cultural community
actors :
• artists and cultural actors as driving forces
• actors from different contexts, business, environment, social, sciences…. as new interlocutors with a strong potential for new proposals
• cultural operators as support partners and instigators of exchanges
e.mobility is built on four themes:
1. detecting and analysing
• the stakes of mobility
• the obstacles to mobility : administrative, economic, technical, psychological, cultural...
• artists’ expectations
• emerging kinds of contemporary creation
2. innovating and imagining “the shape of mobility to come”
• imagine and invent new forms of mobility, new approaches, new contexts…
• artists and actors from other fields of activity as driving forces
• a larger public and new potential actors encouraging mobility
• edition of a "white book" compiling every reflection and every proposal
3. promoting and developing mobility
• widely communicate every proposal made about the new forms of mobility
• place every tool developed with e.mobility at the disposal of cultural actors to spread
• support the artists and cultural actors who don’t have an easy access to mobility and enable as many people as possible to be part of it
• present the best experiences of mobility with media support
4. facilitating and supporting mobility
• create an e.mobility website : a community participative platform in order to facilitate information exchanges, increase flexibility and stimulate creativity between users.
•develop a network of European companies which actively support young creation
