Maxime Touratier's work is based on reproduction through transfer, by using one medium to illustrate another: from text to image, three-dimensional to two-dimensional, portrait to landscape, map to structure, mould to architecture.
Such creations explore the possibility of moving from one system to another, "transferring" symbols via constant uprooting to gain access to a new generation of images and a new representational approach.
