The candidate must fulfill the following conditions:
Whatever the artistic background of the candidate might be, he/she has to present his/her own artistic approach and show how it can be developed inside the residency's framework.
Once in residency, he/she will have to show his/her capacity of autonomy and his/her ability to gather the locals and the audience around his/her project.
A selection committee composed of experts of the European art scene will examine the application forms considering the artistic approach and the motivation of the candidate, as well as the adequacy of the project with the one followed by the host organisation.
In order to guarantee the coherence of the program, the partner organisations are invited to give their opinion on the presented candidates. Before the beginning of the residencies, the selected artists, the host organisations and some experts of the art scene will meet in the departure seminar.
- be between 18 and 25 at the start of their voluntary activity;
- be legally resident in a European Union country or in an eligible Partner Country : Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprius, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom, Turkey;
- apply for 1 or 2 residencies compulsorily located outside their home-country or the country where they work in;
- be available during all the length of the program (6 months at least).
